CONGRATULATIONS LESLIEVILLE!!!!!!!!!!!

No Big Box in our 'hood! Great news. This means no Walmart. What a relief, eh? It just goes to show that a great community, filled with great INDEPENDENT businesses can beat the big guys. Way to go!!!

instead we have a bicycle lane down eastern ave (installed solely to piss off Smarinstead we have a bicycle lane down eastern ave (installed solely to piss off Smart Centres because NO ONE uses it nor was there a need for it) that causes traffic jams and detouring speeders up one way local streets.

Way to go! No big box "local" stores are no longer threatened! Imagine all the vintage stores and art galleries that would have suffered? I'll go to walmart to get my teak table instead.

Mercury should of all places be a testimonial to this hocus theory. Remember when everyone was shouting NO STARBUCKS IN LESLIEVILLE!! I never even thought about it, but if I want to "SAVE" money on coffee I would go to Starbucks...the irony.
